Investment Manager Real Estate Debt (w/m/d)

The position is aimed at individuals who have been established in the real estate debt market for many years, with relevant experience and a strong network in this specific segment. You will have the opportunity to further develop an established company, play a key role in shaping its future with a high degree of personal responsibility, and make a decisive contribution to the company's success.

Responsibilities

  • Full responsibility for the acquisition, analysis, and underwriting of investment opportunities (financing for existing properties as well as project and bridge financing)
  • Acquisition of new customers and support of existing customers for the company
  • Conducting loan agreement negotiations
  • Performing cash flow analyses 
  • Property inspections and location analyses
  • Coordinating due diligence by external service providers
  • Preparation of credit decision templates, documentation, and presentations for the company's investors
  • Research and analysis of market data
  • Controlling and monitoring of financing managed by the company
  • Financial and liquidity planning for investment vehicles
  • Responding to investor inquiries regarding existing investments

Qualifications

  • At least several years of experience in real estate debt/structured finance or comprehensive commercial real estate financing at a bank, investment manager, insurance company, debt fund, or comparable company in the aforementioned areas
  • Extensive knowledge of the lending business and debt market
  • Experience in supporting real estate clients and conducting relevant discussions
  • Experience in analyzing credit opportunities
  • Very strong analytical skills
  • High degree of personal responsibility, commitment, and resilience
  • Ability to work in a team, strong communication and presentation skills, confident, professional, and persuasive manner
  • Desire to help shape the department in a sustainable manner with a high degree of personal responsibility
  • Good command of written and spoken German
  • Completed degree in economics, training as a bank clerk, relevant banking-related further training or a comparable qualification
