CAERUS Debt Investments is a new ECORE member

CAERUS Debt Investments AG (CAERUS) has joined the ESG Circle of Real Estate (ECORE) initiative. The aim of the initiative is to actively support the property sector on its way to CO2 neutrality and to map the sustainability of properties in a transparent, measurable and comparable way. The scoring standard developed for this purpose shows the extent to which a property or portfolio reflects climate targets and ESG criteria. In addition, the required taxonomy criteria of the EU and the goals of the Paris Climate Agreement are integrated.

Bernhard Berg, COO of CAERUS, comments: "As one of the leading real estate debt advisors in Germany, we not only stand for many years of market experience, a broad product range and attractive returns, but also for the integration of relevant ESG aspects into our business processes and investment criteria. We are convinced that this has a positive impact on the environment and society as well as on the performance of our investments. We therefore support the objectives of ECORE, which further emphasises our membership."

ECORE currently brings together over 150 investors and property companies from various sectors of the industry. Among other things, the initiative has developed a label that confirms the ECORE score achieved by properties or entire portfolios. This includes data from an asset check and the governance, consumption and emissions clusters.
