CAERUS Debt Investments appoints Markus Kreuter as new COO
Markus Kreuter (55) has been appointed to the Management Board of CAERUS Debt Investments AG with effect from February 1, 2026, and will serve as Chief Operating Officer (COO) for the company.
The proven expert has over 35 years of experience in financing, including around 30 years in commercial real estate financing. Before joining CAERUS, Markus Kreuter managed the digital investment platform Zinsbaustein GmbH, based in Berlin, for more than four years.
In addition, he has held a number of management positions in the areas of credit risk management and customer service at banks, financing and accounting at project developers, and transaction consulting. His professional career has included positions at Deutsche Bank AG, DekaBank, Vivico Real Estate GmbH (now CA Immo Deutschland GmbH), Jones Lang LaSalle SE, and The Flag Group.
Markus Kreuter is a real estate economist (ebs) and completed the Executive Management Program in International Real Estate (EMPIRE) at IREBS (Regensburg) in cooperation with Bocconi University (Milan, Italy) and ESSEC Business School (Cergy, France) in 2015. In addition to his main job, Markus Kreuter has also worked as a speaker and moderator at events such as the FondsForum conference and Real Estate Finance Day. He also teaches at universities such as IREBS and EBS and is a member of gif Gesellschaft für immobilienwirtschaftliche Forschung e.V. and immoebs e.V.
