The CAERUS ESG program is driven at the executive level of the company and implemented together with all employees. The Executive Board defines and directs our ESG agenda and supports our ongoing commitment to ESG topics, including corporate governance. CAERUS is a member of the Institute for Corporate Governance in the German Real Estate Industry e.V. and has committed to the "Principles of Value-Oriented Corporate Governance in the Real Estate Industry."
For us, responsible investing also means aligning our actions with the Sustainable Development Goals of the UN Global Compact. As a signatory of the UN PRI "UN Principles for Responsible Investment" CAERUS aligns the actions of the entire company with the six Principles for Responsible Investment of the UN PRI – always assuming compatibility with our fiduciary responsibility.
As a member of the ECORE initiative, protecting our environment and achieving climate goals is a top priority for CAERUS. This initiative was developed to make the sustainability of real estate and real estate portfolios transparent, measurable, and comparable.
CAERUS is also a long-standing member of INREV, the European Association for Investors in Non-Listed Real Estate Vehicles, and actively engaged in this organization. We support INREV's goals of improving transparency, increasing professionalism, and implementing "best practice" approaches in the industry without exception.
